This website is owned and operated by Healing in Homes LLC. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services offered. This website offers visitors information about holistic health and the healing arts, particularly various energy healing modalities.  It also provides a means of contacting Heather M. Hofmann to schedule workshops and/or energy healing sessions.  By accessing or using this website, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

Who can use this website and services?

In order to use this website you should be at least 13 years of age, as per the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).  In order to schedule and receive services, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement.  You will also be required to acknowledge in writing or electronically that you have read and understand the Information and Policies document as well as the Consent to Treatment and Liability Waiver as found in the footer of this website.

 

Pets and dependent children of any age may receive services if parent/guardian permission is granted. It is recommended that a parent/guardian be present during the workshop and/or healing session (in person or over the phone).

 

No Professional-Client Relationship

Your use of this website – including the implementation of anything you learn from this website and/or any resources available on this website – does not create a professional-client relationship between you and Heather M. Hofmann or Healing in Homes LLC.

 

Disclaimer

Energy work is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment, diagnosis or care.  Although Heather M. Hofmann has a Master’s Degree in Education and has been trained and certified in several energy healing modalities, she is not a psychologist, psychotherapist, physician, or other licensed health care professional.  Energy healing practitioners do not diagnose conditions, perform medical treatments, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It is recommended that you see a licensed healthcare professional for any physical or psychological ailment you may have, and inform them of any energy healing and/or alternative wellness services you intend to receive.  Energy healing may be used as a complement to any medical or psychological care you may be receiving. 

 

It is important not to have expectations about the outcome of receiving any energy healing or applying any holistic or energy healing techniques.  No claims will be made as to the healing, recovery from, or prevention of any illness.  Energy healing modalities are often holistic in nature, and therefore, can facilitate healing mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and/or physically.  Energy healing seeks to promote harmony and balance within the energy field, supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself; however, results are not guaranteed.  Long term imbalances in the body sometimes require multiple sessions in order to facilitate noticeable healing. Although energy healing is generally a safe method of treatment, shifts in energy can occur which may create some side effects mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and/or physically.

Any information disseminated or taught via this website is done in good faith.  The accuracy, validity, effectiveness, completeness, or usefulness of any information cannot be guaranteed.  You are responsible for your own learning, health and well-being and should use discretion in using and applying information and holistic health or energy healing techniques that are presented or taught on this website.  You are responsible for the use or misuse of the information presented and all outcomes incurred while doing so.  If you choose to ingest or use any remedy or supplement (vitamins, minerals, herbs, compounds, oils, or any external remedy of any kind), you do so at your own risk.

If any court of law rules that any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest of the Terms stands as if those parts were struck out, and the rest remains in force.

This site may allow you to submit testimonials as well as like and comment on articles (blog posts) stemming from this website. Anything you post, in addition to a public profile and public activity may be visible to other viewers of that article wherever it may be posted, including but not limited to: this website, blogs, email, newsletters, and social media channels.
